Long time, no see.
As you can see, we haven't posted since last year, and that is going to change. One of the founders of Nerdy Naturals, Nile, decided that the blog needed to be re-launched--and we're doing it TODAY. This time around, Nerdy Naturals will focus on more than just natural hair, because young women are multi-dimensional.
Nerdy Naturals will have topics such as: sports, beauty, politics, medicine, food, and much more written by Nile and Apryl, and various other contributors. We will also be using other forms of media to reach you all including social media sites and YouTube. Nerdy Naturals' goal is to connect young women worldwide using various forms of media. | Nile Co-Founder Nile is a Freshman Communications major concentrating in Public Relations. She started the Nerdy Naturals blog in December 2013 after noticing how black women were viewed in the media, and after noticing the under-representation of black women in certain professions. | Raye YouTuber/Contributor Raye is a Junior Sociology major. She started her own YouTube channel called BudgetBeauty about a year ago and her channel has been thriving since.
